Product Introduction
Metal oxide varistor (MOV) is a non-linear resistor device with metal oxide ceramics as its core. It normally features high resistance and low power consumption, but can instantly withstand high overvoltage and high current impact. When overvoltage occurs for a short duration (within 25ns), it can rapidly reduce impedance and surge current in the circuit, clamp the voltage within a safe range, dissipate surge energy, and automatically restore high resistance after the surge disappears. The product complies with general requirements for surge protection components and is certified by AEC-Q200. The KH-AT series is a dedicated automotive-grade series, while the built-in thermal fuse series can effectively prevent TMOV thermal runaway and fire risks. With a complete range of voltage ratings and chip sizes, it is suitable for surge protection applications in vehicle electronics, charging stations, photovoltaic systems, industrial control power supplies, lightning protection equipment, and other AC/DC circuits.

The KH-AT series is an automotive-grade radial leaded metal oxide varistor (MOV) with silicone encapsulation. It has passed AEC-Q200 automotive qualification and features an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The flexible silicone encapsulation provides high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, and crack prevention. With fast response speed, strong surge absorption capability, multiple dimensions, and wide voltage ratings, it is specially designed for automotive 12V/24V/48V electronic control systems, vehicle charging motors, and other automotive applications. It is also suitable for transient overvoltage and surge protection in various high-temperature and high-reliability industrial power supplies.
